How it started…

ABEL were formed when Managing Director Nigel Russell undertook the Management buyout of Moody Automation Ltd in May 2016 .

Moody Automation was originally created as a joint venture between the Moody Group and Nigel back in 2008, to provide both the Moody Group and a wide ranging customer base with electrical engineering, process automation and power solutions, spanning industries ranging from power generation to food production.

Following the management buyout the company was rebranded as ABEL Power And Control Solutions Limited, after Nigel’s two daughters Abbie and Ella)……..AB(Abbie) EL(Ella).

The future is bright.

We are dedicated to developing people. We current have 2 apprentices that are in their second year. We’re not only keen to use apprenticeships we also provide all our team the chance to improve their skills by providing them with further training and education.

ABEL Power & Control Solutions Ltd was established in 2007 to provide quality system integration service solutions into a wide range of industrial market sectors. As part of our continued growth we are establishing a firm reputation for manufacturing quality MCC and PLC solutions including SCADA, MES and PLC software into multiple industry sectors. It was identified that customers on a more regular basis require turnkey solutions from sensor to system. This is being achieved by the introduction of additional skill sets in the form of people working with ABEL Power to provide the excellence of service expected from our customers.
